Because of the shorter lifespan of our pets, we stress the importance of an annual physical examination. Thorough check-ups and preventive care can help alleviate serious health problems. We offer a wide range of veterinary services to keep your companions feeling their best:

Diagnostic Services:  Our hospital is equipped to provide diagnostic services to care for your pets' complete health care needs.  
      
Surgical Services:  We provide not only routine spaying and neutering but many other procedures as well including many orthopedic and soft tissue surgeries. Any procedures not performed here are referred to specialists. Surgery is performed in a specialized room, used only for surgery. Proper lighting, aseptic procedures and easy access to drugs and equipment, all help assure your pet of the best surgical care.

Anesthesia:  We provide various anesthetic protocols based on your pet's needs. All patients are monitored for blood pressure, pulse oximetery and ECG to minimize risk for your pet.




    
Other services: We provide many services which include ultrasonography and endoscopy.
   









Radiology Services:  Radiographs or x-ray films are an important tool for your veterinarian. These films can detect such problems as bone fractures, calcium deposits, identifying objects in the stomach, intestines and urinary tract. They also can be used to confirm or detect the presence of certain diseases. As an AAHA Member Hospital we have regular evaluations to be sure our equipment yields the highest quality radiographs with a maximum of safety to your pet.   




Electrocardiography Services:  We provide ECG services on-site as well as consultations with cardiology specialists.
   


Dentistry:  Proper dental care is important to your pet's health and well-being. Your Veterinarian has the skills and equipment necessary to perform routine teeth cleaning, extractions, and gum work. In fact, almost anything your dentist does for you can be done for your pet.

Laboratory:  Our in-house laboratory facilities provide for serum chemistries, hematology, serology, urinalysis and parasite testing. Results can be furnished within a few minutes to a few hours allowing us to make quick decisions concerning a pet's health. We also utilize commercial veterinary laboratories for specialized diagnostics and consultations.
    
Permanent identification: We offer microchip identification.
    

Pharmacy:  We maintain a complete inventory of pharmaceuticals, vitamins, shampoos, flea and tick control products and heartworm preventatives to meet the needs of your pet. We also carry a full line of prescription diets.
   






Dietary Counseling:  We will provide guidance regarding your pet's nutritional needs for each life stage, including dietary requirements for growth, weight maintenance and performance.
    




Boarding:  We provide pet boarding as a service to our clients. All boarders receive personal attention from our caring staff. Pets may be dropped off and picked up during regular business hours Monday through Saturday. Dogs are walked a minimum of four times daily, additional playtime can be purchased for dogs and cats. We provide blankets and bedding and  Science Diet food, although you may bring your own food to avoid diet changes. Other specific diets may also be available.

Bathing:  Routine bathing service is available, which includes a pedicure and ear cleaning.

Nursing Care: Veterinary assistants help provide more efficient care for your pet by helping in surgery, recovery, diagnosis, therapy, administering medications and in intensive care...much the same functions as those of a nurse or technician in a human hospital.












Acupuncture/ Holistic Care: Dr. Susan Mast a member of INT Veterinary Acupuncture Society, performs routine acupuncture procedures. She also is a member of the American Holistic Veterinary Medical Association and can provided alternative forms of therapy for your pets.
