Dee Dee Henry:  Dee Dee has been with Appalachian New River since March of 1993.  Before settling in the High Country she and her husband Lanny lived in multiple states in the U.S. and many cities overseas while Lanny's 22 year service in the U.S. Air Force.  While not at work Dee Dee enjoys spending time on her hobby farm with her Nubian goats, chickens, turkeys, geese, and her four dogs and five cats.

Kelly Allen:  After graduating highschool in Ashe County, where she grew up, Kelly attended North Carolina State University and graduated as a Registered Veterinary Technician in 2008.  In their spare time, Kelly and her husband Chris enjoy horseback riding, camping, and spending time with their threeAustralian Shepherds (Ginger, Blue, Bella) and their kitten (Rylee).

Lee Carter:  Born and raised in Boone, Lee has been an employee of App New River for two and a half years and "loves it!".  Lee is currently a junior at Appalachian State University working towards a degree in Special Education. 

Asia Dunklberg:  As a lab assistant from Canton, N.C. Asia is the proud owner of a black Laborador Retriever named Avett and a black cat named Lucifer.  Asia states: " I love my job at Appalachian New River Vet!".

Angela Zuback:  Angela has been in Boone since she was five years old, moving here with her family from Georgia.  She and her husband of three years, John, have one dog, Piper, and two cats, Aurora and Shadow, who love coming to Appalachian New River Vet!

James Justice:  Growing up in St. Petersberg, Florida, James and his family vacationed in the North Carolina mountains every now and then.  These short visits were all too short for James.  James enjoys nature, art, photography, and attending First Baptist Church of Boone. 

Deena Kent:  As a registered veterinary technician Deena has 27 years of experience in private practice, veterinary schools, specialty practice, and as a veterinary technician instructor.  Deena and her husband have two dogs, two cats, three birds, one iguana, and one chinchila.  While not at work Deena enjoys gardening and working on small construction projects.

Kristen Ketring:  Kristen grew up in Greensboro, N.C. and has made Boone her home now for the past seven years.  Outside of being a customer service representative, Kristen enjoys watching and caring for other peoples pets who don't fair well in kennels.  If you stop in our office, you'll be sure to be greeted by Kristen with a big smile.
